No TWAIN Import to bring scans directly into Canvas.
However, in customizing the setup to emulate my older versions of Canvas (custom toolbar icons), two things I consider important to my workflow appear to be no longer available. Only 30 minutes into evaluation, I can report that it's definitely fast.
